SLAS2015 Poster Presentations

Presenting a poster at SLAS2015 is an effective way for participants to communicate their research to their colleagues and is often the "presentation method of choice" for many scientists.

To be considered for a poster presentation, you must first submit an abstract for consideration by the SLAS2015 Program Committee. Space is limited so; submit your poster abstract today by clicking the box above.

Deadlines for Submission:

Monday, September 22nd:    To be considered for the Tony B. Academic Travel Award
Monday, October 13th:    To be confirmed before the Early Bird Registration Discount Deadline
Monday, October 13th:    To be considered for the Student Poster Award
Monday, January 26th:    Final submission deadline

Please note that a final schedule of poster presentations will be available via the SLAS Event Scheduler in late-November 2014.

Poster Presenter Guidelines:

Poster Presentations Sessions are scheduled as follows:

Monday, February 9th; 1:00 – 3:00 pm: Even Numbered Posters
Tuesday, February 10th; 1:00 – 3:00 pm: Odd Numbered Posters

Posters may be displayed for the duration of exhibition hours on both Monday and Tuesday, but presenters must be available to present their posters as per the schedule above. Poster presenters will be assigned a poster presentation date upon acceptance of their submitted abstract.

All presenters must be registered as full-conference attendees in order to present at SLAS2014. If the primary author is not available during the scheduled presentation time, a co-author may present the poster instead. It is REQUIRED that a presenter be stationed at the poster for the duration of the poster presentation session (on the assigned date of presentation).

Poster size may not exceed 3 feet 7 inches [109 cm] across and 3 feet, 6 inches [107 cm] high.

Each board will be numbered on the upper left corner. Be sure you place your presentation on the board number for which you have been assigned. If you do not know your poster assignment number, please refer to the Conference Final Program. Note that you will be sharing a poster board with another presenter; there will be two posters displayed per board. Posters not printed according to the specifications above will be removed.

Please provide your own supplies, including pushpins to mount your poster. Handouts are encouraged as is a mechanism (envelope) for collecting contact information of participants wishing to receive more information on your poster.

NOTE: There will NOT be a table underneath the poster board.

Arrange the poster for logical flow top left to lower right. The panels may be numbered in the order they should be viewed or you may use chart pak colored tape to guide the viewer.

NOTE: Poster presentation may not be used as a sales or marketing opportunity. No hardware, books, accessories, or saleable items may be displayed at a poster.

Poster presenters are encouraged to display their posters for the duration of the exhibition hours at SLAS2015, but presenters are required to be available to present their poster content based on the schedule below:

Posters will be organized by educational track on the SLAS2015 exhibition floor. Posters will receive a four digit presentation number, with the first number in the series designating track. Numerical track designation is included below:
